For years my family used powdered Tide as I got older I switched and used liquid Tide. It did the job but I tried powder detergent again and this product made all the difference. It’ll take grease and the smell of diesel out and that’s what sold me. Everytime you wash it keeps bringing out old stains. For blue collar workers this is hands down the gear detergent. It also cuts the cost on having to buy additional stain removing products. I buy in bulk and with powder I think it’s the most bang for the buck. Awesome product, I hope it’s never discontinued.

The new formula’s scent gives me a headache. Please bring back the previous version. Why would you mess with a product that is so fundamental to so many People’s lives? Increase the price if you must, but don’t make the product worse.

Tide has lost their mind! They changed the formula but kept the SKU the same. The one pictured above is the original, or older BETTER version. The new box is blue and has bubbles on it. It’s quite different. Why are they messing with it. Did they test market it? Nope. Just showed up on shelves. Powder cleans better than liquid in my opinion. Wish they wouldn’t have done this. Smells and cleans worse than the older version. Come on man, does anyone even read these? Does anyone care?

Can no longer find the white box with the rainbow design. I bought this new blue box and before I got it home my entire car SMELLED HORRIBLE. STRONG CHEMICAL SMELL! Luckily I didn’t open it and had my receipt….. IT WAS RETURNED!!! I will have to buy a different brand.

Have used Tide With Bleach since it was introduced in the late 1980s and loved the performance as well as the fresh scent. I was also a big fan of the original Mountain Spring scent which was available for a while in the Tide With Bleach formula. Then the Mountain Spring variation was gone and ultimately the original scent was changed to something unbelievably harsh, chemical and way too long lasting on the finished laundry. Consequently I had to switch brands. I noticed that the packaging changed again so I tried another box. While I can’t say I am particularly fond of this latest scent, at least it isn’t as strong or headache inducing as the initial change. What I fail to understand is why it was necessary to change from the actual original fragrance. Not everyone needs “new scent technology” and I have no desire to constantly smell the results of my laundry or anyone else’s for that matter. If something wasn’t broken, why was it necessary to change it in the first place? There are more than enough detergents offered with overpowering scents (other Tide variants, Gain, etc..), so can’t the rest of us just have something that smells clean and leaves a light scent on the laundry? Given the number of Tide products that are on every store shelf in the US, I don’t think that’s too much to ask.

I will admit that as a women I’m on that time of the month and have stained a couple of items pretty bad. My normal detergent, powdered all free and clear, does an ok job but it’s not fool proof. I was looking for an additive to put in with my normal laundry that would brighten and get out the tough stains. I’m really sensitive to fragrance and noticed that most additives had fragrance in them, but also came in such tiny amounts for the price. I decided to grab this tide with bleach to use in addition with my normal powdered detergent as it was a great price for the amount you get. As well using it this way prevents me from having to use it full strength which contributes to more fragrance in my laundry. I do double rinse with White Cleaning Vinegar in my rinse cycle to get any excess detergent out, and with this method the stains are eliminated better than ever, while my clothes are left odorless and my skin is left calm. I can say that my laundry room does smell quit strong when this box of tide is open, but that is my only complaint. It doesn’t seem to transfer to my clothing at all.

They changed from the old bleach activator which they had a patent on to the one everyone else uses. Super lame.

Not only is the order incorrect, there’s ingredients that are missing and some that have been added out of nowhere. Consumers should be able to rely on ingredient lists that are made available to them. Unfortunately I can’t trust any information found on your website now.

Bought a box of Tide with Bleach powder. Awesome detergent and there aren’t many with bleach alternative. The scent is amazing and clothes (especially towels) feel and smell clean. Lasts a long time versus a bottle of liquid.

This is the best detergent and the smell is good. Powder detergent is easier to dispense, less expensive and better for the environment. Powder detergent is in super-heavy-duty cardboard box, no plastic jug. There are no spills. Even if I did spill, it vacuums easily. I would never want to use a liquid detergent.

I love the clean scent. I use this to brighten my white sheets, blankets, socks, t-shirts, towels, etc. I prefer powder over liquid. I feel like I’m not paying for water downed powder. I have used this for 40 years.

I used to wash my clothes in Tide with Bleach in powder form about a decade ago. But somehow, the formula changed into something that smells nauseatingly putrid. It is by no means fresh. I was hanging my clothes on the line, and they smelled sour. I have a regular top-load machine and used one scoop. What in the heck is going on? I had to throw away the newly purchased box because there was no way I could continue smelling this detergent. This formula change upsets me greatly.
