I bought this at Home depot because it was a good price from a name brand company. It was a wierd color. The clothes didnt come out very well. I stopped using it. Its very disturbing. My wife now doesnt want me bringing home detergent from a hardware store. Might be worth testing a sample to see whats caused this to change to brown/green.

I like this detergent and have been using it for a while now, however this is the 3rd time getting it and it being a cloudy green color . Don’t go to home depot to get it that’s where I continue to have problems. I have two new bottles I just got and now I don’t want to use it.

Refreshing Breeze smells so strong and to me it smells like poison. My clothes have such a strong odour from it and I can barely breathe this in without feeling sick. I feel like this scent is poisoning me. What happened to the good old original Tide scent? Why make this toxic scent? It’s disgusting, and I will never buy it again.

I purchased this product at Dollar General. Brought home immediately. Never exposed to heat or light on my watch. Like others, was shocked first time I tried using. Brown sludge describes it perfectly. I will follow manufacturer’s advice and dispose of it. However Tide Corp should offer refunds and pull product off market as this seems to be a universal problem/defect..

I came to this website to find out if there is a fabric softener sheet that’s recommended with this detergent. I am really surprised to see so many issues people have had with this. I’ve been using this product for one year and I absolutely love it. Luckily, I’ve never received a bottle that was not blue liquid. I like the scent as well as the job. It does cleaning my family’s clothes. I also love the value as this version of Tide as it is usually priced a couple dollars less than my previous Tide version or is on sale! Great job, Tide!!

I bought this yesterday brand new brought it straight inside from my car, and I only live a minute from the store so it wasn’t in the car or exposed to light for longer than 3 minutes if that. Today I open it up to do laundry and it’s brownish blackish sludge! I poured it all into a clear bowl to see if anything was in it but there wasn’t it’s just gross brownish black sludge! Come online to see multiple people are having this issue. So clearly it’s something on TIDES end and not from being exposed to light or whatever BS excuse tide is using. Give us our money back and fix your product!

I never would have thought that I’d have to open up laundry detergent before buying it to do quality control inspection, this should be done by the manufacturer. I poured some to wash a load of clothes and it was brown green with dark brown residue in it. It was disgusting I put some in a clear cup and the garage sink to make sure I was seeing the true color too. I grabbed my wife and she agreed it was bad. I poured the remainder of the bottle down the garage sink to get rid of the gross detergent. I have never seen anything so nasty I had to wash my clothes a 2nd time to get this crap out of my clothes with a different detergent.

I use this product all the time and this is the first time I have ever had this experience of the liquid being a greenish color. It terrified me. I am on a budget this week and purchase a small bottle for my family clothes and poured this all into my clothes. I DO NOT have extra money to go buy another bottle because I’m afraid of what it may do to our skin, especially in our undergarments . I am at the laundromat too, so I can’t afford to rewatch them in just water. This is a bad experience that makes me consider using a different brand. Is this supposed to be the “new thing” in detergent? It’s marbelized in the most unappealing colors. If it’s “clean” then where is the color coming from? This is the Refreshing Breeze variety. Normally Tide is so reliable. Maybe something went wrong. Is it safe to use or has it ‘gone off’?

Tide Refreshing Breeze was my favorite detergent until the scent changed to a strange grapefruit scent around 2022. I’ve tried every other detergent since and have not found one with both cleaning power and scent that I like. Original Tide smell is now horrific, almost as though cat urine is at the heart of the fragrance. And don’t even get me started on Gain, which many years ago was by far the best smelling of all. I feel ridiculous making this post over something so inconsequential, but really I’m so irritated with PG that I had to let it. Why can’t you offer the truly original and beloved scents of these products? Just name them classic or retro and offer them in retro style packaging. They would fly off the shelves! Thank you for your consideration.
